I can hear that the piano track is looping over and over. in this song. I would suggest to either make a sample and play that, or use a virtual piano or piano sample that's built into your DAW. The growls that start at 1:03 and go to 1:22 are unneccissarily offbeat, but they do sound cool. I would've liked to hear a transition with the key change at 1:22 to smoothen the song out. The drum filler didn't really fit very well either, and the pause that lasted half a bar just after made it worse. However, the song progresses fairly well, and the sounds aren't too bad, except that many of them sound a bit mono.

Okay :D

This is a pretty unique song. One thing I would like to see is the song go more places. I doesn't progress much and it's very repetitive. The sounds weren't too bad, though. Keep improving!

FanIncorperated responds:

Thanks! Maybe I'll remaster it and make it different

This is cool. It's got that Lockyn vibe and it sounds jazzy, like a Nord synth is in the song or something. The beat's awesome, the sounds are awesome. No wonder you have so many fans. Really good job on this. One thing you could do to this though that would sound really neat is like a mega-breakdown where you filter down everything and add some crazy sounds and stuff and then build it back up dramatically.

Lockyn responds:

Thank you mate! maybe I'll try some crazy filtering next time

This is a pretty epic track. It's unique as well. The half-beat's pretty cool. I would recommend more variation in the song, though. Good song.

DJ-MiniKnoppa responds:

thx :D

Some of the sounds you did are pretty good. One thing I would recommend is that the song should go somewhere more. I would recommend chord progression in there to make the melody more interesting. Not too bad, though.

Everlasting-Elements responds:

Thanks for the review. Wasn't exactly sure what else to do to create better intensity. I'll look into it. You may get a message from me soon.

Excellent. Rated 5.

Honestly, I think it would've been more appropriate if you had put it under DnB or House, but there are some dubstep characteristics too.

What did you use for that saw lead that sounds sorta like an electric guitar? And the choir-ish sound? Those were really cool and maybe I could use something similar in my songs.

The only thing is that the refrain of the song was very similar, but this necessarilly does not make it bad for many listeners.

Obviously, you somehow acquired the materials for this song somewhere in heaven. There are rumors that angels now strum this tune on their harps. Good job!

Lockyn responds:

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed so much. Genres are always hard for me, so I hope you can forgive me for that.

I create all my synths using Sytrus - the electric guitar sounding synth is saw-based, choir-ish sound is builds off a waveform of my voice. They have a lot more to it than that but that is the basis of those two sounds. I could do a walkthrough of this project if there is enough interest.

You're much too kind - but I appreciate your kindness. :) Cheers mate!
